Purpose

Unlike other healing arts, reiki is passed from master to student through a reiki attunement that allows the student to connect to the universal source of reiki. Attunement allows you to become a vessel and move reiki energy to yourself and others.

Receiving a reiki attunement is a powerful spiritual experience as your energetic pathways are opened by a reiki master. This energetic opening allows reiki energy to flow freely through your body to impact your health and the health of others.

The sensation of a reiki attunement is personal, but students often report feeling a lightning bolt through their body and tingling from head to toe as the reiki energy pathways open.

Opening an attunement has the effect of enhancing other energetic healing and channeling pathways, and students report that receiving an attunement increases intuitive awareness and heightens any innate psychic sensitivity.
